What is Pilates?
Pilates is a non-impact exercise that builds strength in your core postural muscles, tones other areas of your body, mobilises your spine and other joints, improves flexibility, balance and control. This combination helps to redress any imbalances in your body and realign your posture. Pilates is most effective when done regularly.
About our classes...
Our Pilates classes have been running in Derbyshire since 2006.
The classes are mixed ability classes. Different levels are provided for each exercise so you can choose a level that is appropriate for you. Our classes attract both men and women who wish to regain, maintain and improve their everyday mobility and fitness.
Don’t worry if you have injuries, old or new, back or neck problems or are pregnant. All exercises can be adapted and alternatives given, just let me know.
Gila first qualified with The Pilates Institute in 2003 and has since updated and renewed her qualification. She now holds a Level 3 Fitness Pilates qualification. Classes are registered with www.pilates.co.uk
